Red Russian XXL

Red Russian XXL strain is available as feminized photoperiod seed, or as feminized autoflowering seed. This version is feminized photoperiod, meaning it needs different lighting schedule to switch to flowering phase. Photoperiod plants are usually bigger, produce bigger yields and can be cloned.

It is a mostly indica strain. Red Russian XXL has a very broad family tree. The first in the cross is White Widow, a prize winning hybrid, that originates from Brazil sativa and Indian indica. On the other side we have AK-77V, that originates from AK-47. AK-47s ancestors are Colombian sativa, Mexican sativa, Thai sativa and Afghani indica. This cross resulted in White Russian, that was changed and improved, and so became Red Russian XXL.

This strain can be grown indoors or outdoors. Indoors, the flowering period ends after 8 to 9 weeks, and produces from 550 to 750 grams per square meter. Outdoors, the plant is usually ready to be harvested in October and produces from 450 to 700 grams. These seeds can produce plants that are fantastic in both appearance, and effect. Medium in heights, consistent and dense. It produces very resinous flower tops. Crystals appear after about 5 weeks of flowering. With such a strong indica background, the plants smell quite strong during both their growing and flowering period.

The Red Russian XXL plants yield very powerful buds, coated with resin. They can contain around 21 % of T, and medium amount of C. It produces a very strong, long lasting high that is typical for indica strains. It is a popular medicinal plant, because of impressive amounts of T and C.
