Northern Light is available as photoperiod feminized seed, or as autoflowering feminized seed. This version is photoperiod feminized, meaning the seed will develop only as female plant, that needs lighting adjustment to switch to the flowering phase.
It is a mostly indica strain, with a hint of sativa. With this new Northern Lights feminised, the legendary Afghani Indica makes her debut as a feminized strain! Northern Lights Feminised continues the traditions of her classic ancestors; she produces fast, solid harvests with surprisingly little growing-odour.
Like most of her family, Northern Lights Feminised is usually grown indoors, though this strain can also perform very well outdoors in a warm, sunny Mediterranean climate. Indoors, the flowering period ends after 6 to 7 weeks, and it produces around 700 grams per square meter. Outdoors, the plant is ready to be harvested in September or early in October, and it produces around 600 grams per plant. It reaches medium height.
The buds are sweetly fragrant and due to their thick coating of T-rich trichomes, remarkably powerful! Along with the sweet fragrance, the buds have a special herb like taste. They can contain around 20 % of T and 0.75 % of C. Because it is mostly indica strain, you can expect an euphoric body high, that will leave you tired, relaxed and hungry.
As far back as the Eighties, Northern Lights was setting the standard by which other Indicas are still judged, and she remains one of the most trusted names and sought-after varieties in modern C culture. For many years, Northern Lights dominated the various harvest festivals, winning cup after cup, leading to more than one request that she be retired from competition in order to allow other strains a shot at the title.
