Amnesium seed is feminized, meaning it will produce only female plants. It is photoperiod strain, meaning the lighting schedule needs to be adjusted, to help the plant to switch from growing to flowering phase.
Its genotype is mostly sativa. Because of many years of cross breading different species of strains, pure indicas or sativas are very hard to find. This strain is the closest to being pure sativa, because only two of its many ancestors, that have been crossed to get this beautiful strain, are indicas. Those are Northern Lights #5 and Afghani indica. The other ancestors, that are mainly sativa strains, are Skunk #1, Original Haze and Super Sliver Haze. This brutally powerful mixture, created by a Dutch farmer, is one of the favourites in the Netherlands.
This strain can be grown indoors or outdoors. Indoors, you can expect your plant to grow around 70 to 150 cm and finish its flowering phase after 9 to 10 weeks. It can produce up to 550 grams per square meter. If you want better results, it is recommended to give your plants plenty of space. Outdoors, the plant can reach up to 180 centimetres and is ready to be harvested in October. It can produce from 60 to 250 grams per plant. It is sativa that flowers as an indica, fast, very productive, and manageable height. The reason for that are its super potent indica ancestors.
It produces a very high potency buds. They are usually thick and covered with resin crystals, that can contain around 23 % of T and 0.80 % of C. They have sweet taste and aroma, that is usual for Haze, but this one is sweeter than most hybrids.
After many years of winning cups, Amnesium remains the No. 1 in coffee shops all over Holland, and seeing its name and reputation grow, the operator of Amnesium has produced the first Original Amnesium feminized. In the Netherlands it is one of the most sold in coffeeshops year after year, and has won many awards, so many that it is difficult to name them all. The high production of this elite clone has been determined to become a favourite in the Netherlands and because of that prestige it has become a highly sought variety in Europe.
